Why should I use Crossing Borders Language Center to learn a second language?
At Crossing Borders Language Centers, we have native-speaking, experienced teachers in our classrooms so our teachers know the ins and outs of learning the language and they can give you the best tips and tricks. We also offer small class sizes, so you can experience individualized attention from your instructor and form relationships with the other students that allow you to practice your conversational skills.

How many students are in a class?
As stated above, at Crossing Borders Language Centers, we believe in small class sizes to maximize personal attention and group interaction. Our class sizes range from 8 – 15 students with an average of 10 students per class.

How do I know which class is best for me to learn English?
We ask every student to complete an assessment test to help us understand your skill level. Our comprehensive assessment test asks questions designed to bring out the best in every student. From your test results, our professional staff can understand exactly which Intensive English or private class will benefit you the most.

How fast can I learn a new language?
While every student is different, we believe practice makes perfect. That’s why all of our language classes are designed to give the students time to speak and actually practice their new language. We think the more you practice in class, the more comfortable you will be speaking in the real world,  and the faster you will learn.

How will my child learn a new language during summer camp?
Our summer language camps for kids and teens are designed to engage the student in language-learning activities at the beginning of each day, then we use those language skills in active and creative ways such as playing games, going on field trips, or creating arts and crafts after lunch to give every student time to actually speak their new language.

How can I learn a new language when I have to work during the week?
Easy! At Crossing Borders Language Centers, we offer private classes in Spanish, English, Mandarin, French, and German. Our native-speaking teachers can come to your location or you can come to our campus for language classes on your schedule.

What happens if the class I am placed in is too difficult or too easy for me?
No problem. Our teachers are highly experienced in teaching languages. If they see that you might need a class with a different skill level, they will consult with you and help you find the perfect class. We are here to help you.
